Vacancies

We are looking an experimented Database and/or Linux System administrator ( > 3 years of experience)

Position


  • You will work for our clients (remotely or on site)
  • This job requires excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Due to the dynamic nature of the business, self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly are essential
  • On a weekly basis, availability required for maintenance outside regular office hours
  • Main Tasks :
    • Database Administrator:
          • Support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance
          • Databases administration in different technologies: Oracle, PostgreSql, MySql
          • Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of databases
          • Management and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures
          • Installation and maintenance, patching of database server
          • Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code
          • Designing database packages and procedures
          • Security and access control
    • Linux Administrator:
        • Installation, configuration and updates of RHEL 5/6/7 servers
        • Set-up and optimization of infrastructure monitoring including alerting and escalation procedures in case of emergencies
        • Support RedHat Satellite
        • Support RedHat Enterprise Ipa server
        • Develop and support shell/python scripts

  • Essential skills:
    • Database Administrator:
        • In-depth knowledge of Oracle 10g/11g/12c – PostgreSql 8.x – 9.x
        • Basic Knowledge of Mysql
    • Linux Administrator:
          • In depth knowledge of RHEL Administration
          • Basic knowledge in troubleshooting Apache/Weblogic
    • Good knowledge of ITIL process
    • Good documenting skills
    • Good communicator
    • Ability to learn quickly
    • Ability to solve problems high pressure
  • Education:
      • Oracle Administrator: Oracle OCP/DBA
      • Linux Administrator: RHEL certification
      • Fluent in English and French
      • BAC >= 3
